How to get to Bali from Lima?

First of all, I tell you that it is NOT mission impossible, it is easier and cheaper than you can imagine!

1. ROUTE OF THE FLIGHTS:

In my experience the best route is through São Paulo-Brazil . The cheapest 2 options of the Brazil-Indonesia flight are with Turkish Airlines or Emirates.

With Turkish they play 2 scales (Istanbul and Jakarta, capital of Indonesia).

The Emirates route is with a single stopover in Dubai and saves you time, but to find good prices you have to buy it more months in advance. With Turkish you can find good prices even 3 or 2 months before.

Here I leave the links of the “Current Offers” pages of the 2 airlines: Emirates  https://goo.gl/Dhol7F and Turkish

The flight from Lima to São Paulo can be taken with Avianca or LAN, both have direct flights. Remember that when taking out separate flights from Lima to São Paulo and from São Paulo to Bali, you are free to take a few days to take a walk in São Paulo

2. PRICE OF THE PASSAGES:

Calculate about $ 1500 with a variation range of + – $ 100.

I recommend you look in these 2 pages that I have found that always help me find the best prices: KAYAK and SKYSCANNER . And do not forget to always put: Flexible Dates and + -3 days

Here are the screenshots of the passages: USD 974 + USD 504 = 1478 dollars

In case you are wondering if there is another cheaper way, I verified that the cheapest way through the United States costs 1800 USD, that is 300 dollars more expensive. And also that it is necessary that they have the United States visa even if they only have a stopover , so here is my recommendation of the route that is worth to everyone.

3. VISAS?

In this route you do not need visas!

Brazil: 90 days tourist visa-free stay

Turkey: 90 days tourist visa without visa.

Arab Emirates: Scale inside the airport without a visa. You can process a transit visa for 4 days to visit Dubai, it costs 50 dollars and it is processed online on the website of the Emirates Airline.

Indonesia: We enter with a Peruvian passport WITHOUT VISA! Tourist stay 30 days without a visa.

Always have on hand this Wikipedia page with the map of the countries for which we need visas

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_requirements_for_Peruvian_citizens

4. HOW MANY DAYS SHOULD YOU STAY?

Minimum 1 week.

If you had 2 weeks of vacation you have 2 options:

A) stay right there, traveling around Bali and the nearby islands (Gili, Lombok, Lembongan, Komodo) with which I assure you you will have a complete calendar and without boredom. You can arrive by boat or plane.

B) You can travel to another nearby destination in Asia with direct flights on low cost airlines, for example: Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok … Calculate about 100-200-300 dollars for those flights.

5. HOW MUCH DO I PREPARE OF BUDGET?

ACCOMMODATION: Some numbers for you to have an idea, in Bali you can find hostels (hostels), hotels and villas. You can use 40 dollars / night for your calculations.

TRAVEL BAG: Per day you can calculate 30 dollars as a reasonable number including your lunch, dinner and basic transportation.

IN TOTAL CALCULATES ABOUT 2000 DOLLARS PER PERSON FOR A JOURNEY OF 1 WEEK OR 2500 DOLLARS FOR 2 WEEKS.
